Here are the best places to stay in this summer’s 10 most popular travel destinations

Being able to stay at swanky hotels all the time would be the one. No house errands, no deciding what’s for tea; allowing you the time to relax that this illustrious life has earnt…There’s the spa, the bar, the restaurant. Unfortunately, that’s a little unrealistic for even the A-list celebrity amongst you (oh, we have our famous readers I’m sure!). Luckily though, this world of ours is blessed with some top places for you to work in though (if that’s your thing). Check them out here…

LONDON: Overlooking the Royal Mews and Buckingham Palace, 41 Hotel has 30 rooms that each have a different bold, black-and-white design. Luxurious touches like personal butlers, large fireplaces, and fresh flowers help make for a memorable stay.

PARIS: La Cour du 5ème is a charming B&B on the quiet pedestrian street of Rue Mouffetard. The private suite includes a spacious living room, an opening dining area with a traditional daily breakfast, and windows overlooking the courtyard.

BARCELONA: Stay near some of the city’s most iconic sights at Casa Valeta Studio. The self-catered accommodation is set over two floors and includes a living room, full kitchen, furnished private patio, and easy access to bars, restaurants, and markets.

ROME: Casa Roma Casavacanze offers guests a luxurious self-catered apartment in the Monto district, just minutes from the Quirinal Palace. The space is adorned in playful decor and is only minutes away from nearby restaurants and bars.

AMSTERDAM: At Houseboat Ms 3 Gebroeders, your accommodation is situated in the former captain’s room. Guests have access to a private sundeck, where they can enjoy stunning views over the water, as well as close proximity to cafes, restaurants, and other attractions.

PRAGUE: Stay at the city’s historical center at the serviced apartments of Old Town Apartments Tyn. Located just a few steps from Old Town Square, the apartments range from rooms with two double beds to ones that have as many as eight double beds.

LISBON: Fanqueiros 204 – Old Town is a charming apartment located in the historic downtown area of Lisbon. Just feet away from attractions like the Santa Justa Lift, the three-bedroom apartment has a prime location and classic decor.

BERLIN: The stylish one-bedroom apartment at Modernes Studio am Hackeschen Markt is within walking distance of Berlin’s historic sights, which is a big part of why it’s a crowd favorite. Guests can also get views of the iconic Berlin TV Tower from their rooms.

MADRID: If you’re in search of a property that is truly set in the heart of Madrid, look no further than Alfonso Apartments. Guests at these modern and spacious apartments are treated to full kitchens, dining areas, and a communal terrace.

VIENNA: These apartments are located in Vienna’s trendy 7th district, where there’s a mix of historic and modern attractions to explore. Guest rooms are in a historic 19th-century building that boasts high ceilings, double doors, and old oak floors.

Could you quite happily see yourself working in one of the above? As the destinations make quite clear, a career in Hospitality could lead you pretty much anywhere around the globe. A paid jet-setter (with a smidge of work thrown in for good measure). The dream, eh?! Best knuckle down and crack on with a Hospitality course here at The Sheffield College then. More info here…
