This Maths Equation Doubles Up As A Limerick
The following is a limerick, believe it or not.
Do you see it?
Let us elaborate:
A dozen, a gross, and a score
Plus three times the square root of four
Divided by seven
Plus five times eleven
Is nine squared and not a bit more
The rhyme scheme checks out, as does the maths – both sides totalling 81.
How cool is that? If you’re you love maths as much as the person who conjured such genius, you should check out the range of Maths courses we have on offer here at The Sheffield College across all sites!
