1. Bake Box
What do you get This box is for next-level baking fans – you get 6 recipe cards, and 6-8 pieces of bakeware (from silicone moulds to piping kit to super-cute edible heart toppings).
How much is it? £17.98 (£14.99 + £2.99 post and packaging) every two months.
Who should you buy it for? Your friend who nails every Bake Off technical challenge.
What do you get? Four super-exclusive 90ml bottles of experimental gins from Sipsmith, including flavours like Ham & Mustard and Truffle & Mince Pie, every three months.
How much is it? OK, it’s not cheap – they’re currently running it through Indie Gogo, so the cheapest option is £60, which gets you one season of the above plus a handmade copper spirits measure. The gin is really, really good though, and the measures are generous.
Who should you buy it for? Your friend who’s always saying that you MUST try an Aged Gin Old Fashioned.
4. Lick My Dip
What do you get? A fiery mix of hot sauce and chili products. Each box contains either one table sized bottle of hot sauce (or multiple sample bottles) and two or more chili products (like chutney, chocolate etc).
How much is it? The box is £12.49 a month.
Who should you buy it for? Your friend who orders their Nando’s extra hot.
What do you get? A thoughtful themed Lifestyle box, with dainty gifts each time. The summer one above had a beach bag, suncream, and more.
How much is it? £14.95 a month (£11 + £3.95 P&P).
Who should you buy it for? Your friend who’s really into buying baskets for “general storage”.
6. Honest Brew
What do you get? A really flexible craft beer subscription (you choose how often, how many beers, and what kinds).
How much is it? A tasting box (where you try out craft beers from places likeBeavertown, Five Points and more, before sending on your feedback) is only £12 at the moment. Subsequent boxes vary, but a nine-beer box is £28.
Who should you buy it for? Your friend who knows their American pale ale from their India pale ale.
What do you get? A selection of four healthy custom snacks (from olives to a brownie with beetroot), which you can choose yourself.
How much is it? £3.99 a box, and your first box is half-price.
Who should you buy it for? Your friend who accidentally spends half their paycheck in Whole Foods.
What do you get? Incredibly soft unisex baby items (like a bodysuit, hat, bib etc) made from gentle bamboo cotton. You can even personalise it so it’s addressed to the baby (SO CUTE!).
How much is it? £12 a month.
Who should you buy it for? Your friend who’s just expanded their family.
What do you get? A surprise gift, every month. You fill in some personal info (age, location etc) and you can also select the kind of gift you want (homeware, jewellery, art etc). You can also just get a random gift if you’d rather.
How much is it? £24 monthly.
Who would like it? Your terribly stylish friend who’s impossible to buy for.
10. The Cake Nest
What do you get? A “scrumptious” slice of homemade cak through your letter box once a month.
How much is it? £50 for a generous slice of cake a week for 2 months.
Who should you buy it for? Your friend who has strong feelings as to whether a Jaffa Cake is a cake or a biscuit.
11. Pact Coffee
What do you get? Fresh coffee, perfectly tailored to your tastes.
How much is it? £6.95 per bag, delivered as frequently as you’d prefer.
Who should you buy it for? Your friend who knows the difference between an Americano and a Long Black.
Does your friend prefer tea? Try the Rare Tea Company.
What do you get? Shaving essentials, tailored to you. You can choose how often you shave, and what products you want included. Then you get up to three full size products, and a razor with six blades.
How much is it? Prices start at £20 every six weeks (if you just choose the blades and one product.) The razor handle is free with your first order.
Who should you buy it for? Your friend who’s tired of maintaining their beard.
What do you get? A vintage paperback book each month, in your chosen genre, a handmade book bag, and a library card.

What do you get? A wonderful mix of super-sweet stationary – think notebooks, washi tape, greetings cards, and more.

15. Pong Cheese
What do you get? Cheese, glorious cheese. Boxes vary, but the Classic Tasting Box gives you a bit of everything (approx. 580g of cheese).
How much is it? £20 for a one-off box like the above, or £28 per month for a recurring Chef’s Choice box.
